This is probably the one day that all women, can flaunt their cleavage with pride. National Cleavage Day which is endorsed by Wonderbra was first celebrated in 2002 and has since been  celebrated year after year. This day is basically a day that women embrace their femininity, yes ladies love those "nanas", babies, melons.....whatever you refer them to as. They define your womanity!! Oh and this has to be every guy's favourite day, as they can stare without feeling guilty or shy about being caught looking lol.....

Yes i did!!!! It's Miss L.A.M.B herself. I have picked her as my guru/style icon of the day. You have to give it to her as the fashion and music industry is all about creativity, fun and having your own identity within the entertainment industry as a whole. She has mastered that hands down, there's no-one that can say they don't know Gwen Stefani. And yes, wait for it............**drumrolls**. We all know her,  and her "very out there" outfits that she puts on. But you have to admire the way she's grown and matured as a fashionista.

From the very funky and in your face outfits that lil kids get wowed by, to her now cutting-edge L.A.M.B Collection that we so love and let's not forget the animal prints she is forever rocking. And which happens to be her favourite, as she loves animal print(a reflection of her love for animals). She sure has earned her spot in the fashion indurstry!

You can never go wrong with scarves and snoods, they can revamp a plain looking outfit to something glam and fab. I for one love my scarves and will be adding some snoods to my accessory collection this season.#ForTheLoveOfWinterFashion!

They say "dreams do come true".........No matter how vague that dream may seem; but if you believe that it can come true, then keep pushing to make it a reality. The big dreamers such as Coco Chanel made it! I bet people gave her funny looks back when she used to dream of being a visionary that she is now seen as. Heck! I bet she didn't think the brand would be this big. Big or Small if you want people to believe in that dream; if you want to be a household brand, it all starts with believing and trusting that vision you have like Coco Chanel did. If there's any day that should have been declared a public holiday it's Monday, even kids battle with it. They have a hard time getting up for school on a Monday morning. Usually kids embrace the simplest of things but, even they can't handle the blues that come with it. Personally i think if we didn't have such days, we wouldn't be able to embrace the other fabulous days of the week we always have or the weekends we all look forward to. So here's a lil something to help you kick those Monday Blues to the curb. With Cobalt Blue being the "IT" colour that's taken popularity in recent fashion trends, how can you not embrace it with a stunning pair of Ivanka Trump's Shoe Collection, Timberlands for that hood look?? My Guru of the day today had to be the quirky Mr Scott Disick also known as the "Kardashian Husband", who has been in a long time relationship with Kourtney Kardashian. Some of my guys friends tend to dismiss Scott's dress code and i actually have found that some have admitted to his stylish and sleek look. Like i had mentioned on a previous post. I always appreciate that "clean/neat stylish look" on a guy. With Scott though, it doesn't just end there. He is not shy to play around with the different colours and what i like is that whatever he is wearing, it's never falling off him. My Favourite Autumn/Winter Perfumes.....

I know that everyone loves the spring and summer season, but i still believe that autumn and winter are just as exciting. There are so many reasons to embrace the autumn/winter season, some of my personal reasons are because i get to splurge on some of those warm-bold like perfumes(my other weakness). So here are some of my top 5 perfumes, i've been indulging on; at the moment i'm enjoying my Carolina Herrera 212 VIP(my fling), i love D&G Rose The One(love at first smell). Chanel Coco Mademoisielle(my true love), Hugo Boss Orange (the lover i can't let go of) and Hugo Bose XX/Juicy Courture(the one night stand, i'll never forget). I must say i am tempted to have an affair with Paco Robanne Lady Million, there is just something, that mystery, that charm and i'm curious to explore...........

Although some may beg to differ but i find Michael Kors by Michael Kors, Chanel Allure Sensuelle and Clinique Aromatics a bit too strong and mature for my personal taste in perfumes. And as for Guess Gold Women and Bulgari Omnia Crystalline, there is something missing hmmm. All in all though, these perfumes have similarities in the notes they translate in a bottle. The boldness of the rum, woody-cinnamon, musk, vanilla base notes; with the distinct touch of the sweetness of jasmine, rose, lillies and many more. And the blend of nature's fruity raspberry, bitter orange, honey, and water bring harmony to the top notes that define each perfume's individuality.#ILoveMeSomePerfume:)

Something to keep you going;

We all have our best and worst days. We all get to a point where it feels like it's too much!! But if the beginning was meant to be so simple and easy, then there wouldn't be a purpose for that fulfillment one feels at the end; there wouldn't be a purpose of knowing your own capabilities beyond what most thought was impossible. So i still say; DON'T GIVE UP!!! The only thing that is standing between you and that dream is "yourself doubt". KEEP AT IT, UNTIL YOU GET IT:-)......Happy Tuesday my bugz xoxo.

Fashion Week: MERCEDES BENZ JHB FASHION SHOW.

Here's a glimpse of what went down at the Mercedes Benz Johannesburg Fashion Week 2012. If we can't make it to the Fashion Week, by the order of the "Fairy God Mother of Glam"...........Fashion Week shall come to us. Now isn't that FABNESS=D. So everyone who attended the Fashion Show which was at the Hyde Park Corner's rooftop on the 7 - 10 March,  have been singing praises to the talented Gavin Rajah, David Tlale as well as Kluk CGDT just to name a few. A mention of a young upcoming designer Thula Sindi who everyone is keeping a close eye on closed the show. This talented young designer was also winner of the Talent Designer search with Elle Magazine in 2011........#ForTheLoveOfFashion.

ELLE "BREAKFAST WITH THE EDITOR" WHAT WENT DOWN:

So i have to spill beans on my wonderful wxperience at the Elle Magazine "breakfast with the editor" that took place on Wednesday 7th March at Quarter Hotel Florida Rd Durban. Now where do i begin, wow............everthing looked gorgeous and on point! From the table, to the food, the 14 other ladies that attended with me, the goodie bag, right through to the Elle Team. Topic to our discussion was "if we were editor of Elle, what would we change or not change and why. As well as the influence that the magazine has in the lives of the women of the 21st century." The discussion was very insightful, very motivating and inspiring. Jackie Burger, editor of Elle shared her wise words with us and listened to our viewers as readers. I am still in awe at the person Jackie is, what a woman hey*excited face*. She is humble, down-to-earth, funny, sweet and just has that graceful nature with the way she carries herself. I really had a great time and made new friends, thank you soooo much Elle Mag. Hope to see you in Durban soon:)

#ForTheLoveOfGoodFood. There is nothing i enjoy more than good food, and well making it too(I LOVE AND ENJOYING COOKING). And every now and then i go to my cousin who is a chef for recipes. He recently whipped this mouth-watering Fish with the peppermint crisp tart as dessert. Let's just say, a whole lot of family members were hogging the kitchen lol. If you want his recipes you can find it on facebook(Gourmet 4play) and he will make you a chef over night.

I'm a sucker for accessories and all things gorgeous. Yes i'm a girl, so i'm allowed...........wa-watch yourself. Careful now before you start saying something about what a "girly girl" i am.
